Citizenship & Naturalization

The Law Offices of Omar Baloch, PLLC in the past has helped many individuals become Citizens of the United States. Citizenship can be gained through a variety of mechanisms. Whether it’s through operation of law, acquisition of citizenship, naturalization, or through service in the United States Armed Forces, our firm can guide you through the citizenship process to avoid potential pitfalls and issues such as residency and criminal history.
Generally speaking, the most important factors in determining eligibility for naturalization are residency requirements, understanding of US History, ability to read and write English, and good moral character.
If you have been a permanent resident for a minimum of 5 years or have been a green card holder for 3 years through marriage to a United States Citizen you may be eligible for US citizenship.

This firm in the past has also helped individuals prepare defenses and appeals to those applicants whose petitions for citizenship have been denied by USCIS.
If your citizenship petition has been pending for more then 2 years and USCIS has yet to render a decision, you may consider filing a Writ of Mandamus.
Our office welcomes your questions, please contact us to schedule a consultation to discuss your case.
